These beautiful crafts are a lot cheaper (in price, not quality) outside Rosarito as compared to the ones being sold inside the town.

Rosarito’s main street is also, by far, the best place to buy Mexican furniture. Southwestern, pigskin, hacienda, willow, hand-carved and hand-painted furniture, and custom pieces are all made locally. The selection is enormous and shops can be seen on both sides of the street up to the whole length of the city.

Because bargaining has long been part of trade life in Rosarito, most shopkeepers, if not all, sell their wares at a higher price, expecting tourists to haggle.
